THE OVERVIEW

For over three decades, the team behind Empire Custom Carts and Birdie Golf Carts had been building a reputation in the Niagara region as the people to call for golf carts. Empire ran the dealership and service operation out of Sherkston. Birdie handled the rental side at Sherkston Shores. Both were trusted. Both were established. But as the business prepared to expand into new markets, operating under two separate identities was no longer serving the brand the way it deserved.

The decision was made to unify everything under a single name, and we were brought in to make that happen. The result is Birdie Golf Carts: one brand, five locations, and a presence that now stretches across Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom.

01 - The Foundation

30+ years of trust

This was not a rebrand born out of a problem, but an opportunity to unify two trusted brands under one unified front. The business had built something real over 30 years, and the goal was to honour that history while creating an identity strong enough to carry into Carleton Place, Buffalo, and the UK without losing a step.

The challenge was building something cohesive enough to work across every location and every context, from resort rentals to full dealership operations, without it feeling generic or watered down.

02 - The Identity

Unified under one name

We developed the full Birdie Golf Carts brand from the ground up: strategy, positioning, messaging, and visual identity, all anchored around a single idea. We Are The Golf Cart People.

It is a line that is simple enough to remember and confident enough to own. The brand now works whether a guest is booking a cart at a partner resort in Ontario, walking into a dealership in New York, or visiting the team at Unity Beach in Somerset.

Five locations. One voice. A brand built to travel as far as the business does.

THE WORK

Thirty years of trust, one unified identity, and a brand now operating across three countries.
